2005 Adoption Mosaic was a nonprofit founded by and adoptee, Astrid Castro and three adoptive parents, Sheri Campbell, Mina Bacigalupi, and Debbie Kauffman

2015 The board of directors made the tough decision to close the nonprofit 

2019 Astrid Castro launched Adoption Mosaic as an LLC and was the sole owner

2025 Astrid Castro dissolved the LLC, and along with two adoptive parents, Hollie Martin and Steve Skillman, relaunched Adoption Mosaic once again as a nonprofit in partnership with the Women’s Foundation of Oregon
